Jeanette Furmedge

Deputy Chair

Jeanette has been actively involved with Knoxbrooke since 1974 and a member of the Board since 1985 having held the position of President in 1988 and 1989. Jeanette is a qualified Sports and Remedial Therapist and works part-time. In her spare time Jeanette enjoys singing with ‘Concordia’ a madrigal group, and spending time with her husband travelling to Queensland and South Australia to catch up with her family.

Murray Coulthard


Murray brings to Knoxbrooke over 50 years’ experience in financial management and law having specialised in superannuation. In retirement, Murray now enjoys golf and wood turning and is learning Bridge. Murray enjoys travel and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron Barbaroux

Board member

Ron has worked within sales and marketing consultancy roles for the past 6 years. Prior to this, Ron was involved in a variety of sale roles within multinational companies specialising in telecommunications. When not working Ron can be found writing a family history novel and reading biographies and autobiographies.

Pat Dalton QC

Board member

Pat served within the Victorian Public Service – Crown Solicitors Office as Queens Counsel prior to retiring. Pat is actively engaged with Knoxbrooke and enjoys history, reading, music and golf when time permits.

Collin Higgins

Board member

Colin’s background is in management education and research where he has taught strategy and corporate responsibility for the past 17 years. Colin is an Associate Professor and MBA Director of Deakin Business School.

Prior to emigrating to Australia, Colin had experience in the community and not-for-profit sector in New Zealand – including as Board Member of the Mature Employment Support Agency and the Treasurer of the Manawatu Tenants Union.

Ray Hollis

Board member - Knoxbrooke Enterprises

Ray has had a long career in the distribution and transport industry as a driver, owner driver and as a base radio operator. Prior to this long career in distribution and transport, Ray managed a hardware store for 6 years.

Ray’s interest in joining Knoxbrooke as a Director grew from his association with the Rotary Club of Ferntree serving as a member since April 2016.
In his spare time Ray enjoys golf and travel.

Kristian Dauncey

Chief Executive Officer

Kristian joined Knoxbrooke in January 2016. Kristian brings extensive community services expertise having worked within the sector since 2003. Prior to this, Kristian worked within a commercial environment both within Australia and overseas.

Kristian is passionate about ensuring that people with disabilities have the same opportunities and privileges as all others. Kristian enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, recreational cycling and swimming.

Scott Buckland

Executive General Manager

Scott joined Knoxbrooke in March 2016 as General Manager of Knoxbrooke’s Social Enterprises which includes Yarra View Nursery, Knoxbrooke Outsource, Yarra View Garden Centre, Waratah Gardening Services, Jigsaw Industries and Bushland Flora. Scott has over 20 years commercial management experience gained across various industries including Horticulture, Apparel, Printing and Construction.

In his spare time Scott enjoys playing competition tennis, all water sports, gardening and spending time with his wife and four children.

Gai Campbell

Outer East Regional Manager

Gai was a practising lawyer for almost 30 years before becoming a Family & Child mediator in 2005. Since that time Gai has continued to work in management in the not for profit sector largely for Relationships Australia.

Gai also worked for Lifeline, delivering 600 accredited workshops Australia wide every year raising awareness of family violence.

Gai is keen to contribute to the work of Knoxbrooke in the community and meeting and supporting it’s families.

Janelle Ghent

Manager, People and Culture

Janelle brings to Knoxbrooke over 20 years of HR experience. Most recently working within Aged Care, Janelle has developed a strong interest in supporting this sector in the not for profit space. With formal qualifications in Adult Education, Janelle is passionate about coaching and mentoring both business leaders and employees. Janelle is a keen member of a women’s walking group, and enjoys Pilates and crafts.

Anne Bavington

Quality and Performance Manager

Anne joined Knoxbrooke in November 2019 in the newly developed Quality and Performance Manager role. Since commencing work in the disability sector 30 years ago Anne has undertaken both direct support roles and senior management positions.

Anne has a strong focus on social justice and the promotion of rights of people with disabilities.

When not studying for a Master of Business Administration Anne enjoys spending time with family and friends in the Grampians National Park and visiting the Pacific Island of Samoa.

Clare Cutler

Regional Manager - West Gippsland

Claire joined Knoxbrooke in March 2020 as Regional Manager of West Gippsland. Claire has lives in Warragul and is very passionate about the disability sector, and has over 15 years people management experience gained across various industries including federal government & private industry.

In her spare time Claire enjoys NRL, travel, camping and spending time with her husband, four children and her dog.
