Selling our wide range of quality plants to customers will be your key responsibility. You will work with a diverse group of customers to provide solutions from quality, presentable and in demand plants to nursery retailers, to contract grows for councils and other grows within the industry. The focus of the role will be a strategic balance of office-based sales activities and on-the-road customer visits. You will use a mix of telesales, social media, and other on-line techniques to maximise opportunities and your customer visits will showcase our quality products to current and prospective customers. 

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Completing a weekly on-site stock review to ensure stock list is current and accurate;
  • Assisting with merchandising requirements for major retail chains;
  • Strategic external sales activities such as spec vans, on-site consultations and trade expos;
  • Forecasting for future sales to ensure we have the right product at the right time;
  • Sales processing, product range and pricing reviews.

This is a hands-on role providing general garden maintenance services with responsibility for the training and direct supervision of Supported Employees to complete tasks such as lawn moving and edge trimming.

Your skills and experience will also include:


  • Current manual Light Rigid drivers’ licence (minimum)
  • Competence in the use and maintenance of garden equipment (mowers, edgers etc.)
  • The ability to interact and communicate with people of diverse abilities
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and records management system software)
  • A proactive approach to problem solving

Garden Maintenance Supervisor Job in West Gippsland & Latrobe Valley – SEEK

This role will provide key administrative assistance to the busy People & Culture team and provide general assistance to the broader Corporate Services team as needed.  Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, this is a diverse role that will give you great exposure to all aspects of HR and the opportunity to grow and develop into other areas.  You can expect tasks to include:

  • Data entry/document management in the HRIS system
  • Assisting with candidate phone screens and reference checks
  • Support compliance screening for employees
  • Coordination of induction/compliance training
  • General admin support to the Corporate Services team, ensuring site operations are maintained
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced administrative role, preferably within a Human Resources environment.  Super important will be your positive attitude and proactive approach.
